ABC just announced plans for a new reality show where contestants perform famous dance scenes. Those are three words I never thought I'd see put together "Famous...Dance...Scenes." But apparently such things exist. And what's worse, none of them will be from Showgirls. At last count, that makes 172 dance shows.I can only think of one song that best fits this news. Look it up. You'll get the joke.

I'm not a huge fan of reality tv at all, but I'm surprised "Those are three words I never thought I'd see put together "Famous...Dance...Scenes." There's lots of famous dancing scenes in movies and tv:
Saturday Night Fever
Footloose
Dirty Dancing
Singing in the Rain
Flashdance
West Side Story
Can't Buy Me Love
any musical
and that's just off the top of my head. That being said, it's still a really stupid idea for a series.
